Today I’ll tell you where is the neutral pelvis hidden.
I remember having serious doubts myself about the concept of neutral pelvis: “Today we are going to do this exercise, with your pelvis in a neutral position” – the teacher said – but, what the hell is the neutral pelvis? what’s the meaning of that? How one should feel it in one’s body?
In today’s video I’m explaining in your own words the meaning of neutral pelvis, and also I’d like you to find your neutral pelvis and actually feel it with a simple exercise.
Beyond drawings and anatomical drafts – which are very helpful- the most important thing is that you feel the exercises in your own body.
Your body is not a white paper in your hand, neither an image in a mirror.
Your body is what you think it is, what you feel when you move, your body is you. How do you feel your body is a fundamental first step to make that mental map of yourself.
Listen to yourself, make an effort to understand and respect your body to the maximum.
