Hip work is a fundamental if you are a belly dancer.
And if you have been dancing for a while is not that easy to find advanced level drills, isn’t it?
This post will be a little bit longer than usual. The most important stuff it’s in the two first paragraphs, but if you keep on reading you will get to know many other things.
Keep on reading 😉
Today’s video is an advanced level hip work class.
You will notice that I’m just explaining tiny bits and moving much more. I do this precisely because it’s an advance level class and on this level corrections and explanations tend to be much more personalized and a more proactive attitude is expected from the student, at least with the students I work with 😉
This class is full of challenges and it will require from you to pay close attention to them, as the good advanced level student you are.
If you are not advanced, there are also things for you on this blog, as this full class for absolute beginners.
You are invited to watch today’s video class though, so you can get inspired and motivated to rehearse this year more than ever.
Go on, press play…
And after watching the video leave a comment and let me know how did you find the class. Was it hard or a piece of cake for you?.
Your comments are very important for me, it’s always good to know that there is someone else on the other side.

And now a bit of my new year’s resolutions.
Next year it’s going to be for me the year of self-care. I’m determined to take care of myself more than ever, and I’m going to love myself as nobody has ever done and no one will ever do. I know it’s a BIG goal, but I’m already working on it with all my energy and motivation.
I’m determined to improve my self-esteem this year and for that purpose I’m going to dance a lot, because in case you don’t know, dancing helps to improve your self-esteem, yes, I tell the story this article I wrote a while ago.
And that’s all for the moment, I hope you have a great week and the best starting of the year.
Thanks for being part of the dance pandemic community.
Hugs and dance,
Zahida.
ps. The song in the video it’s Adieu by Cheb Khaled 😉
