The Big Hip Circle is a bellydance movement, fairly easy to do, and at the same time, quite beautiful.
But there is a little danger to it and you should be careful. I talk about it in the video 😉
In my opinion, the beauty of this movement is that it could be easily combined and mixed with many other belly dance movements.
The transition in between the big hip circle and others like the figure of eight or ommi, it’s quite natural and looks amazing.
If you have just started bellydancing and don’t know what I’m talking about, you can have a look at my article –> Bellydance: Your First Steps.
Press that play button now, and enjoy!
In the video I talk about coordinating arms and hips, and this is the article I mention there.
If you have liked this new video and want more, you just have to leave a comment below to feed a bit my excitement.
Excitement and joy are emotions that boost my creative energy.
If you are part of the DanceLetter – the DancePandemic Newsletter, free of divas and spam, you might already know that these have been difficult times for me.
I always intended to come back and did my best to do so. In fact, this video I’m sharing today was recorded in August 2019.
But life has been like the Queen of Hearts from Alice since the end of 2018 (well, that’s what life has always done, no matter if we like it or not)
So I can’t promise anything in terms of frequency for new videos because I don’t know. But there is one thing that I know for sure, if you are part of the DanceLetter, you’ll be the first one to know when new bellydance video tutorials are released.
So, make sure you are subscribed!
Thank you very much for being here.
With loads of love and hope,
Zahida
Ps. I have now access to my very own home dance studio, so I am sure it won’t be a year and a half waiting again 😉
